Cry to Me es una canción escrita por el compositor y productor discográfico estadounidense Bert Berns (aunque suele aparecer en los títulos como Bert Russell) que fue grabada por vez primera en 1961 por el cantante estadounidense Solomon Burke, aunque no fue hasta el año siguiente cuando se lanzó como segundo sencillo, interpretándolo por vez primera en televisión, en marzo de ese año, en el programa American Bandstand.

El tema se ha convertido en un clásico de la música soul y en uno de los mayores éxitos del artista.
