El sitio de mi recreo es una de las mejores canciones del panorama musical español. La canción fue escrita por el añorado Antonio Vega, uno de los cantantes y compositores más grandes que ha dado la música. La canción apareció por vez primera en su álbum Océano de sol en 1994. Ha tenido algunas versiones interpretadas por otros artistas, pero ninguna de ellas llega tan dentro del alma como la el propio Antonio Vega, que la inunda de sensibilidad y melancolía y nos hace sentir que todos tenemos nuestro propio sitio de nuestro recreo, allí donde a veces nos vamos a soñar y a refugiarnos.

La canción recibió un Premio Ondas a la Mejor Canción. Que pena que se vayan tan pronto artistas tan grandes... nos quedan sus canciones.
