The Reason es una preciosa balada de rock del grupo estadounidense Hoobastank, co-escrita por el líder la banda, Douglas Robb junto a Dan Estrin, Chris Hasse y Markku Lappalainen, que aparece dentro del álbum de 2003 que llevaba el mismo nombre que la canción por título y que fue lanzada como segundo sencillo en 2004. El tema consiguió un gran éxito, llegando a alcanzar las primeras posiciones en las listas musicales de todo el mundo y estuvo nominada al Grammy a la Mejor Canción.

Faro de Lisboa es un tema escrito por Carlos Goñi, cantante del grupo de rock español Revolver que aparece por vez primera en su disco de 2000 que llevaba por nombre Sur. Un precioso y triste tema con una melodía que te enamora el alma con el sonido del acordeón y el violín y se te queda atrapada en el corazón.

La volvió a grabar en 2006 en su disco Básico 3, acompañado en esta ocasión por el gran Bunbury.

It´s Christmas es un tema compuesto por el músico y cantante alemán Dieter Bohlen y que aparece dentro del álbum de Modern Talking de 1987 que llevaba por título In The Garden of Venus. Una canción que hará las delicias de los fans del dúo alemán con el inconfundible sonido con el que consiguieron tanto éxito.

The Christmas Song es una canción del dúo danés The Raveonettes del 2011 que no sé si es muy navideña o no, pero a mi me gusta... mucho... y se me ha metido en la cabeza y no puedo dejar de cantarla. El tema no tiene nada que ver con el clásico de Mel Tormé, sino que es un tema de rock navideño actual con sonido un poco retro años 60, distinto a cualquier otro que hayas escuchado, con una melodía que no podrás dejar de cantar y un ritmo que no te permitirá quedarte quieto.

Una maravillosa canción para estas fechas con un estilo diferente.

Heaven es el tercer sencillo póstumo del DJ sueco Avicii en el que colabora el cantante Chris Martin, líder de la banda británica Coldplay. La canción aparece dentro del álbum póstumo que lleva por título Tim, aunque fue grabada en 2014 y se estrenó por vez primera en 2015. A lo largo de estos años y hasta el 2019 ha habido varias versiones y con diferentes cantantes, aunque la versión final es la que aparece junto a Chris Martin en su último disco. Un tema que no puedes dejar de bailar y de sentir toda su energía y que la mejoran si cabe, en el remix que hicieron como tributo el DJ francés David Guetta junto a el productor danés Morten y a Chris Martin.

The Christmas Song es un precioso clásico tema de Navidad compuesto en 1944 por el músico y compositor estadounidense Mel Tormé junto a Bob Wells. Originalmente se subtituló como Merry Christmas To You y posteriormente se cambió al de Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. La canción fue interpretada por vez primera en 1946 por Nat King Cole Trio y posiblemente sea uno de los temas navideños más interpretados a lo largo de los años. En 1999 Natalie Cole (hija de Nat King Cole) grabó un disco navideño que llevaba por título The Magic of Christmas y una de las canciones que aparecen en el álbum es esta, la cual está grabada como dueto póstumo junto a su padre y es una de las versiones más bonitas que he escuchado donde la magia de la Navidad se siente en sus cálida voces.

Ven y camina conmigo es un maravilloso tema del cantante zaragozano Bunbury (uno de los mejores artistas españoles, con un talento inmenso) que lanzó como segundo sencillo de su álbum de 2015 MTV Umplugged. Little Saint Nick es una canción navideña escrita por Brian Wilson y Mike Love, miembros de la banda The Beach Boys, que la grabaron en 1963 y que fue lanzada como sencillo ese mismo año. Consiguió llegar esa Navidad a las primeras posiciones en las listas musicales y al año siguiente volvieron a grabarla para el álbum The Beach Boys´Christmas Album.

(There's no Place Like) Home for the Holidays es una deliciosa canción navideña compuesta por Robert Allen y escrita por Al Stillman en 1954 que se hizo popularmente conocida por el artista norteamericano Perry Como que la grabó en dos ocasiones, en 1954 y en 1959. Pero hay otra versión, la que en 1978 realizaron los hermanos Carpenters y que a mi, personalmente, es la que más me gusta, porque la maravillosa voz de Karen Carpenter (posiblemente, una de las voces más bonitas que he escuchado nunca) le da esa dulzura que necesita una canción para estas fechas con la que consigue llegarte al corazón.

Posteriormente ha tenido más versiones en las voces de artistas como Garth Brooks y el dúo realizado por Cyndi Lauper junto a Norah Jones, entre otros.

One More Sleep es el primer sencillo que se lanzó en 2013 del primer álbum navideño de la cantante inglesa Leona Lewis que llevaba por título Christmas, with Love. La canción está co-éscrita por la propia Leona en colaboración con Richard "Biff" Stannard, Iain James, Jez Ashurst y Bradford Ellis.
