Fire es una canción del cantante estadounidense Bruce Springsteen escrita como tributo al gran Elvis Presley, después de que Bruce asistiera a un concierto de Elvis el cual acababa de fallecer. Una toma de la canción fue grabada en 1978 durante las sesiones de Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story, pero es descartada porque no encajaba temáticamente y Springsteen acepta que la graben The Pointer Sisters que la llevarían a los primeros puestos de las listas del Billboard. No vería su lanzamiento oficial hasta el 2010 como parte de la caja The Promise que recoge material inédito de Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story.

A pesar de interpretarla en vivo en sus conciertos a partir de 1978, Springsteen no dio a conocer su propia grabación de la canción hasta 1986 con el álbum Live/1975-85 album que contiene el concierto que dio en 1978 en el Winterland Arena de San Francisco.

Like It Always Was es el primer sencillo lanzado en este 2023 del que será el próximo álbum del cantautor y músico holandés Danny Vera. Una preciosa canción llena de calidez y paz en la que la voz y la guitarra son los principales protagonistas sin necesidad de más adornos para invitarnos a cerrar los ojos y llevarnos a sentir y a soñar.

One Like You es el segundo adelanto del próximo álbum la artista neoyorkina LP que llevará por título Love Lines que se estrenará el 29 de septiembre de este 2023 y que estoy con unas ganas inmensas de escucharlo al completo.

Con una voz inconfundible y poderosa, LP consigue un tema con un sonido único y atemporal, embriagador y cautivador.

El video de la canción está protagonizado por la propia LP junto a su guitarrista Andrew Berkeley y la actriz y cantante eslovaca Radka Pavlovčinová.

Mirando al mar es una canción de 1949 que la hizo popular el cantante valenciano Jorge Sepulveda con letra de César de Haro Valencia y música de Marino García González. En 2023 los hermanos franceses Isaac et Nora, enamorados de los boleros, lanzan una preciosa versión junto a la cantautora albaceteña Rozalén de este melancólico tema que nos recuerda a esas canciones que se pedían para dedicar en la radio.

Blinding Lights

Blinding Lights es una pegadiza canción del cantante canadiense The Weeknd, lanzado como segundo sencillo de su cuarto álbum de estudio de 2020 que llevó por título After Hours. El tema, escrito por el propio The Weeknd junto a Ahmad Balshe, Jason Queeneville y Max Martin, fue lanzado en 2019 y en 2020 se hizo un remix junto a la cantante española Rosalía, interpretada durante el espectáculo del la Super Bowl LV de 2021, convirtiéndose ese mismo año en la primera canción de la historia en mantenerse un año (52 semanas) en el Top 10 del Billboard Hot 100.

En 2023, Spotify dio a conocer que la canción se había convertido en la más reproducida de la historia hasta ese momento, al alcanzar los 3,3 millones de reproducciones.

Un temazo que no tuvo el reconocimiento en premios pero si en escuchas y reproducciones, con esos sintetizadores que nos llevan a ese sonido dance de los 80 que hace que se te meta en la cabeza y ya no puedas parar de cantarlo y bailarlo.

Say Goodbye es un temazo con un toque ligeramente electrónico de la cantante y compositora estadounidense Norah Jones que nos hipnotiza con su voz y su particular sonido y que aparece dentro de su álbum de 2012 Little Broken Hearts.

La canción fue compuesta por la propia Norah junto a Brian Burton y en 2023 lanza una edición de lujo y el tema que aparece en esta edición es el que interpretó en directo en 2012 en el Autisn City Limits... un lujo para los sentidos.
