Good Thing es una canción de la banda británica Fine Young Cannibals lanzada como segundo sencillo de su segundo y último álbum de 1989 que llevó por título The Raw & the Cooked.

El tema, compuesto por Roland Lee Gift y David Steele, consiguió llegar al número 1 en Estados Unidos y entro en el TOP 10 en las listas musicales de distintos países.

Beyond the Sea

Beyond the Sea es la versión en inglés de la canción francesa La Mer del cantautor francés Charles Trenet y popularizada en 1959 por el cantante y compositor estadounidense Bobby Darin con la diferencia que la versión original francesa era una oda al mar, y la letra que escribió el compositor estadounidense Jack Lawrence para la versión en inglés es una canción de amor.

La versión de Bobby Darin llegó al Top 10 en distintas listas musicales de Estados Unidos y es la versión más conocida a lo largo de los años, aunque hay otras versiones que también merecen ser destacarlas, como la que en 1948 realizó el clarinetista Benny Goodman, la realizada en 1985 por el guitarrista y cantante George Benson o la que en 2001 hizo el cantante Robbie Williams.

La primera grabación de Beyond the Sea fue la del músico estadounidense Harry James and His Oschestra en 1947, y la primera grabación de La Mer fue la que hizo en 1945 el músico de jazz francés Roland Gerbeau.

Wonderwall es un temazo de la banda inglesa Oasis que fue lanzado como cuarto sencillo de su álbum de 1995 que llevó por título (What´s the Story) Morning Glory? y que fue compuesto por el cantante y guitarrista de la banda, Noel Gallagher.

Posiblemente sea uno de los temas más conocidos de la banda inglesa, con el que consiguieron  vender más de 1,8 millones de copias hasta el 2017 solamente en el Reino Unido y lograron llegar al TOP 10 en las listas musicales de todo el mundo.

La canción ha recibido numerosas versiones a lo largo de los años y entre ellas se encuentra la que en 2013 realizó el dúo británico Hurts y que aparece dentro de su EP de 2013 que llevó por título Blind.

A Little Respect

A Little Respect es una canción del grupo británico Erasure lanzado como tercer sencillo del que fue su álbum de 1988 que llevó por título The Innocents y que fue compuesta por los miembros de la banda, Vince Clarke y Andy Bell.

Sin duda es una de los temas más conocidos de la banda, llegó al TOP 10 de las listas musicales en varios países y ha sido una de sus canciones más versionadas, además de ser copiada su melodía y reinterpretada por otros artistas como Nick Kamen en I Promised Myself, Milla en La isla del sol o Paulina Rubio en Enséñame.

En 2010, Erasure hizo una remezcla que solamente se podía descargar por internet y que se hizo a beneficio del Instituto New York´s Hetrick-Martin (la más antigua y más grande asociación de ayuda a jóvenes LGBTQ de Estados Unidos, sede del Harvey Milk High School) y la Fundación True Colors de Cyndi Lauper.

Entre las versiones realizadas por otros artistas, destacan las que han hecho Kevin Johansen, Kelly Clarkson, Agoney para la banda sonora de la película El Cover, Kim Wilde y la que en 2012 realiza la cantante escocesa Carrie Mac.

Uretan es una maravillosa canción que aparece dentro del álbum de 2019 del cuarteto vasco Alos Quartet y que llevó por título Lau. El tema lo realizaron en colaboración con la cantante y compositora vizcaína Izaro.

Un tema lleno de sensibilidad y belleza que aparece dentro de la banda sonora de la serie Intimidad.

La elegancia del cuarteto musical junto a la personal voz de Izaro hacen que las emociones echen a volar y se enreden en todos los recovecos de tu ser.

Ámame otra vez es una preciosa canción del cantautor español Manuel Carrasco, que cómo siempre llena de verdad y poesía las emociones y los sentimientos.

El tema aparece por vez primera en su álbum de 2006 que llevó por título Tercera parada y en 2021, dentro del que fue su doble CD de la gira que hizo y que llevó por nombre Salida de Emergencia, donde el directo hace que las emociones se despierten y se sientan más a flor de piel.

One Of Us

One Of Us es una canción del grupo sueco ABBA que fue lanzado como primer sencillo de su disco de 1981 que llevó por título The Visitors. El tema fue escrito por los componentes masculinos del cuarteto: Benny Andersson y Björn Ulvaeus y los dos primeros títulos que recibió la melodía fueron el de Nummer 1 y posteriormente Mi Amore, aunque finalmente se quedo con el de One Of Us.

La canción es uno de los hits de ABBA y consiguió llegar al Número 1 de las listas musicales en distintos países alrededor del mundo y en el TOP 10 en muchos otros.

Que tendrá ABBA que el tiempo pasa pero su música permanece inalterable y siempre actual.
