The Unquiet Grave es una canción popular inglesa que se cree que data de 1400 y fue recopilada en 1868 por Francis James Child como Child Ballad número 78. En 2017 la cantante de folk escocesa Siobhan Miller hace una preciosa versión que aparece dentro de su álbum Strata.

Voilà es una preciosa canción de 2020 de la cantante serbio francesa Barbara Pravi, compuesto por la propia Barbara, junto a Igit y Lili Poe y que es el tema seleccionado para representar a Francia en el Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión 2021 en Rotterdam.

Un tema cantado con tanta delicadeza como intensidad, con tanta dulzura como pasión, con tanta fuerza como elegancia.

Una canción que te llega al alma y se queda atrapada en tu mente, donde inevitablemente se queda danzando, mientras te ves envuelta en su música y en la maravillosa voz de Barbara Pravi.

Turnin´ Me On es el tercer sencillo del álbum de 2017 del cantante estadounidense de música country Blake Shelton y que llevó por título Texoma Shore.

El tema está coescrito por el propio cantante junto a Josh Osborne y  Jessi Alexander.

Caminhos de Avis

Caminhos de Avis es una maravillosa composición del músico y compositor portugués Rodrigo Leâo que aparece dentro de su álbum de 2020 que lleva por título Avis 2020 y que es un proyecto que refleja los meses de encierro durante el confinamiento por la covid-19, días en los que vivió en Avis, una villa portuguesa en la región del Alentejo, un pequeño paraíso donde poder ser un "poco más libre" dentro de la situación que vivimos en todo el mundo, y que se ve reflejado en esta bellísima melodía que te trasmite paz y tranquilidad, imaginando como la brisa del aire mece las hojas de los árboles y te acaricia la piel mientras respiras aire puro, mientras respiras libertad.

We Will Rock You

We Will Rock You es una de las mejores y más conocidas canciones de la banda británica Queen, compuesta por su guitarrista, Brian May en 1977 y que aparece dentro de su álbum que llevó por título News of the World.

Su pegadizo sonido, marcando el ritmo con las palmas y un sólo de guitarra, la han convertido en todo un himno del rock, siendo versionada en numerosas ocasiones y se la considera una de las mejores canciones de la historia según la revista Rolling Stone.

Realmente, la canción no lleva batería y los sonidos están generados por los miembros de la banda, los técnicos e ingenieros musicales y por Betty, la mujer que les traía el té, dando pisotones en el estudio de grabación.

Otro dato curioso es que el video fue grabado en el patio trasero del batería Roger Taylor.

El sencillo fue lanzado como cara B de We Are the Champions, aunque en Estados Unidos las dos canciones salían como cara A y alcanzó las primeras posiciones de las listas musicales de todo el mundo.

La canción se interpretó en todas las giras de Queen, casi siempre en penúltimo lugar, seguida por We Are the Champions y también formó parte del mítico y mágico Live Aid de 1985.

Se interpretó también al final del Concierto Tributo a Freddie Mercury en 1992, siendo interpretada por Axl Rose, líder de la banda estadounidense Guns N´Roses y en la Ceremonia de Clausura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres de 2012 fue interpretada por la cantante británica Jessie J y los integrantes actuales de Queen, incluyéndose algunas imágenes de Freddie Mercury como homenaje.

Sin duda es una verdadera joya musical, un clásico por el que no pasa el tiempo y que permanecerá eternamente en nuestros corazones.

Careless Whisper es una maravillosa canción escrita por mi adorado y añorado George Michael junto a Andrew Ridgeley, que formaban el dúo británico Wham! Fue lanzada en 1984 y aparecía dentro de su segundo álbum que llevó por título Make it Big. El tema llegó al Nº 1 en 25 países y vendió más de 6 millones de copias en todo el mundo.

La canción fue originalmente lanzada como un sencillo de George Michael como solista, aunque él todavía formaba parte de Wham!

Sin duda es una de las baladas más escuchadas de la historia de la música... eterna en la voz mágica de George Michael.

La vida sigue igual

La vida sigue igual es una gran canción del cantante español Julio Iglesias que aparece en su álbum de debut de 1969 que llevó por título Yo canto.

Con este tema Julio consiguió ganar el Festival de la Canción de Benidorm y fue el primer éxito del cantante madrileño, siendo tan grande el éxito que al año siguiente se rodó una película con el mismo título, protagonizada por el propio Julio Iglesias y que con tintes biográficos narra la propia historia de su paso por el Festival de Benidorm.

La canción ha tenido numerosas versiones a lo largo del tiempo, entre ellas la que realizó Chayanne en 1994 dentro de su álbum Influencias, Tamara en 2005, la Vieja Trova Santiaguera en 1998 y Luis Mariano, que hizo una versión en francés en 1970.

Una canción que se ha convertido en un clásico de la música española y que por mucho que pase el tiempo, ella sigue acompañándonos, generación tras generación.
