Turnin' Me On

Turnin´ Me On es el tercer sencillo del álbum de 2017 del cantante estadounidense de música country Blake Shelton y que llevó por título Texoma Shore.

El tema está coescrito por el propio cantante junto a Josh Osborne y  Jessi Alexander.

Her kisses taste like whiskey
Burnin' through my veins
She don't know how to miss me
She hits right where she aims
Baby's got my number and she's calling me up
Knows what she's doing with a single touch

She's turning me on, turning me on
Pushing my buttons like it ain't no thing
If I'm what she wants, she gets what she wants
The neon's buzzing when she pulls that string
Turning me on like it's her job
Sometimes I think she must get off on
Turning me on, turning me on

Knows how to set me on fire
She's always holding the match
And when my body's beside hers
There ain't no turning back
She's Revlon red in the blackest night
Lighting up the room in the world just like

She's turning me on, turning me on
Pushing my buttons like it ain't no thing
If I'm what she wants, she gets what she wants
The neon's buzzing when she pulls that string
Turning me on like it's her job
Sometimes I think she must get off on
Turning me on, turning me on

Once she gets it started
Man, it's all night long
She's the needle on the vinyl
Of a midnight song

She's turning me on, turning me on
She's turning me on, turning me on
Pushing my buttons like it ain't no thing
If I'm what she wants, she gets what she wants
The neon's buzzing when she pulls that string
Turning me on like it's her job
Sometimes I think she must get off on
Turning me on, turning me on, yeah
Turning me on, turning me on
Turning me on, turning me on
Turning me on, turning me on

(Turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me on
Oooh, oooh, oooh
Turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me on
Oooh, oooh, oooh
Turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me, turning me on
Oooh, oooh, oooh)

Tuesday I'll Be Gone

Tuesday I´ll Be Gone es un tema del cantante de música country John Anderson, todo un clásico al que se une el también cantante de country Blake Shelton para crear este estupendo dueto que forma parte del álbum de 2020 de Anderson de que lleva por título Years.

Sometimes a man just needs to be alone
Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway to the sky
I don't know where I'm goin'
There ain't no way of knowin'
Tryin' to forget the reasons why

Tuesday I'll be gone
It's time for movin' on
My road to happiness, it
Might be long, but
Tuesday I'll be gone

Take a ride down the road out in the country
And drive the long way around
It don't matter which way or what direction
Long as I am freedom-bound

Yeah, Tuesday I'll be gone
It's time for movin' on
Gonna find my way somehow
Gonna ride to the edge the sundown
Find a place
In some small town
To lay my head down

My road to happiness, it
Might be long
My road to happiness, it
Might be long, but
Tuesday I'll be gone
Tuesday I'll be gone

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun
Now, the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell twist
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air

What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go riding in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin' feet
That's the jingle bell rock

What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go riding in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin' feet
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell rock

Some Beach

Drivin' down the interstate,
Runnin' thirty minutes late,
Singing margarita ville and mindin' my own.
Some foreign car drivin' dude
With a road rage attitude,
Pulled up beside me talkin' on his cell phone.
He started yellin' at me like I did somethin' wrong.
He flipped me the bird,
And then he was gone.

Some beach, somewhere
There's a big umbrella casting shade over an empty chair.
Palm trees are growin',
A warm breeze is blowin',
I picture myself right there,
On some beach, somewhere.

I circled the parkin' lot
Tryin' to find a spot
Just big enough I could park my old truck.
A man with a big cigar
Was gettin' into his car.
I stopped an I waited for him to back up.
But from out of nowhere a Mercedes Benz
Came cruisin up
And whipped right in.

Some beach, somewhere,
There's nowhere to go
And you've got all day to get there.
There's cold margaritas and hot señoritas
Smiling with long dark hair,
On some beach, somewhere.

I sit in that waitin' room,
It seemed like all afternoon.
The nurse finally said, doc's ready for you.
You're not gonna feel a thing,
We'll give you some Novocain,
That tooth'll be fine in a minute or two.
But he stuck that needle down deep in my gum,
And he started drillin' before I was numb.

Some beach, somewhere,
There's a beautiful sunset burnin' up the atmosphere.
There's music and dancin' and lovers romancin'
The salty evenin air,
On some beach, somewhere.
On some beach, somewhere.
