Summer Wine

Summer Wine es una canción del cantante y compositor estadounidense Lee Hazlewood en 1966 y que fue interpretada por primera vez por el propio Lee junto a Suzi Jane Hokom pero que se hizo popular al año siguiente de la mano de Lee, pero en esta ocasión junto a la cantante estadounidense Nancy Sinatra, convirtiéndose en todo un éxito.

El tema ha tenido a lo largo de los años varias versiones, entre las que se encuentran las de Demis Roussos, la de Lana del Rey junto a Barrie-James O´Neill, la de Conchita  Wurst o la que hicieron en 2002 la banda irlandesa The Corrs junto a Bono, vocalista de U2 para el álbum de los hermanos Corrs que llevó por título VH1 Presents: The Corrs, Live in Dublin.

These Boots Are Made for Walkin´ es un clásico de la década de los 60, que fue compuesta por Lee Hazlewood en 1966 expresamente para Nancy Sinatra, consiguiendo ser el mayor éxito de la cantante estadounidense. La canción ha tenido diversas versiones por diferentes artistas, pero el encanto que tiene la versión original no ha podido superarla nadie.

Somethin' Stupid

Somethin´ Stupid es una canción escrita por C. Carson Parks en 1966 y que fue grabada por primera vez por el propio autor junto a su esposa Gail Foote, aunque no sería hasta 1967 cuando Frank Sinatra la grabó junto a su hija Nancy Sinatra cuando consiguió el verdadero éxito y popularidad, siendo la versión más conocida entre todas las que se han hecho. Esta versión de Frank y Nancy apareció en el álbum del primero The World We Knew y pasó cuatro semanas en el número 1 de E.E.U.U. Posteriormente, en 2001, el cantante Robbie Williams grabó otra versión con la actriz Nicole Kidman, que aparece en el gran álbum del cantante británico, Swing When You´re Winning llegando a ser número 1 en distintos países. La verdad, cualquiera de las dos versiones es maravillosa, así que puedes elegir... o porque elegir, si puedes quedarte con las dos.

En 2011 y dentro de su álbum Antojos, Vol. 1&2, el músico y compositor español Caballero Reynaldo nos regala una original y fresca versión que seguro no deja a nadie indiferente... a mi me gusta y mucho.
