All Along The Watchtower

All Along The Watchtower es una canción escrita por el cantante estadounidense Bob Dylan y que pertenece a su álbum de 1967 que llevó por título John Wesley Harding, siendo el tema que más veces ha tocado en directo... en 2018 lo había hecho en más de 2.200 ocasiones. El tema lo ha lanzado en 4 versiones diferentes en vivo dentro de los álbumes Before the Flood de 1974, en el de Bob Dylan at Budokan de 1978, en el de Dylan & The Dead de 1989 y en el de MTV Unplugged de 1995.

A lo largo de los años ha tenido numerosas versiones, pero una de las más conocidas y aclamadas es la que 6 meses después de publicarse el tema original, realizó el guitarrista y cantante estadounidense Jimi Hendrix para su álbum Electric Ladyland.

Otras de algunas de la versiones más conocidas son las que en su momento hicieron U2, la que hizo Neil Young en un concierto homenaje a Dylan y en 2021 el dúo estadounidense Striking Matches hace una particular y preciosa versión del tema de Dylan.
