Such A Simple Thing

Tell me what you're feeling
I can take the pain
Tell me that you mean it
That you won't leave again

Tell me what your heart wants
Such a simple thing
My heart is like paper
Yours is like a flame

I can't make you see
If you don't by now
I'll get through these chains
Some how, some how

Take it if you want it
I'm so tired I just don't care
Can't yous see how much you hurt me?
It's like I wasn't there

Tell me what your heart wants
Such a simple thing
My heart is like paper
Yours is like a flame
My heart is like paper
Yours is like a flame

I can't make you see
If you don't by now
I'll get through these chains
Some how, some how

Tell me what your heart wants
Such a simple thing
My heart is like paper
Yours is like a flame
My heart is like paper
Yours is like a flame

You Are The Best Thing

Baby
It's been a long day, baby
Things ain't been going my way
You know I need you here
To clear my mind
All the time

And baby
The way you move me, it's crazy
It's like you see right through me
And make it easier
You please me, you don't even have to try

Oh, because
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, baby)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, ooh)
Ever happened to me

Baby
We've come a long way, baby
You know, I hope and I pray that you believe me
When I say this love will never fade away

Oh, because
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, baby)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, ooh)
Ever happened to me

Both of us have known love before
To come on up promising like the spring
To walk on out the door
Hearts are strong, and our hearts are kind
Well, let me tell you just exactly what's on my mind

You are the best thing
(You're the best thing)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, baby)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, ooh)
Ever happened to me

You are the best thing
(You're the best thing)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, baby)
You are the best thing
(You're the best thing, ooh)
Ever happened to me

You are the best thing
(Yeah, yeah)
You are the best thing
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
You are the best thing
(Now, now, now, now, now)
That ever happened to me

I Was Born To Love You

You give me a sign
You give me a lift
You take me home when I've done my shift

You give me a loan
When I'm stone cold broke
Get me high, when I need a toke

I was born to love you
I was born to
I was born to love you
I was born to

Times were tough
We made it through
We tasted the rough
So let's save the smooth
All the time I was hurtin' you
Got to believe that I was hurtin' too

I was born to love you
I was born to
Born to love you
I was born to

Your the only one I can talk to
The only one I can really read
I know you give because you want to
Don't you think it's time you learned to let yourself receive?

Can make you smile
Can make you sing
Just wanna give back a little bit of what you give me

I could sing you a song
Play you a tune
I know it's just a little thing but it's something I can do

I was born to love you
I was born to
I was born to love you
I was born to

I was born (Born)
To love you
I was born (Born)
To love you
