Not Worthy del cantante británico Jack Savoretti es una canción que me encanta y que forma parte de su álbum Before the Storm, lanzado en 2012 y compuesto por Stephen Andrew Booker y el propio Savoretti.

Es de esas canciones que puedes escuchar una y otra vez sin cansarte, porque tiene algo especial, con esa melodía tan pegadiza y una honestidad en la interpretación con esa voz rasgada tan particular que te llega directa al corazón. Si aún no la has escuchado, te la recomiendo... ¡Vale la pena!

She's Gone es una maravillosa canción de Bob Marley & The Wailers que forma parte del álbum Kaya lanzado el 23 de marzo de 1978, en la que Marley expresa el dolor de perder a su pareja, quien lo deja debido a la presión que siente en la relación.

En 2018 para conmemorar el 40º aniversario del álbum Kaya se lanzó una edición especial titulada Kaya 40. Esta edición incluye una remezcla completa del álbum original realizada por Stephen Marley, hijo de Bob Marley. Además, se acompaña del álbum original remasterizado, ofreciendo a sus fans una nueva perspectiva de este clásico del reggae. La edición especial también contiene material adicional, como grabaciones en vivo y tomas alternativas, brindando una visión más profunda del proceso creativo de Marley y su banda durante la producción de Kaya. Esta celebración del 40º aniversario permite a los más fieles seguidores de su música redescubrir y apreciar aún más la riqueza musical de uno de los álbumes más emblemáticos de Bob Marley.

Musicalmente She's Gone mantiene el estilo reggae característico de Marley y aunque no fue lanzada como sencillo, es una de las pistas más destacadas de Kaya, un álbum que combina canciones de amor y temas espirituales, mostrando una faceta más relajada y personal de Bob Marley.

Cruzando el paraíso

Cruzando el paraíso es una canción del cantante barcelonés Loquillo, escrita y compuesta por el propio Loquillo junto a Gabriel Sopena Genzor y Jaime Stinus Martínez. El tema forma parte de su álbum Balmoral lanzado en 2008. En este álbum aparecen dos versiones de la canción y una de ellas es en colaboración con el legendario rockero francés Johnny Hallyday, aportándole una dimensión especial.

Posteriormente se hizo una nueva versión para Latinoamérica junto al cantante argentino Andrés Calamaro.

Yo no te pido la luna es la versión en español de la canción italiana Non voglio mica la luna interpretada originalmente por la cantante italiana Fiordaliso. La canción se lanzó en 1984 y rápidamente se convirtió en un éxito tanto en Italia como en otros países de habla hispana, gracias a su potente interpretación.

Los compositores fueron Zucchero Fornaciari, Luigi Albertelli y Enzo Malepasso y formó parte del disco Fiordaliso, el álbum homónimo que ayudó a consolidar la carrera de la cantante italiana.

El tema es un pop ochentero, con arreglos característicos de la época, que mezclan sintetizadores con una base rítmica enérgica y la adaptación de la canción original en italiano al español amplió su popularidad en mercados de habla hispana, convirtiéndose en un clásico de la música romántica.

La canción fue presentada por Fiordaliso en el Festival de San Remo 1984 y aunque no ganó el concurso, fue una de las interpretaciones más recordadas marcando un punto de inflexión en la carrera de Fiordaliso.

Hay canciones que tienen la capacidad de tocar el alma y Whenever You Come Around de Vince Gill es una de ellas. Lanzada en abril de 1994 como primer sencillo de su álbum When Love Finds You, esta canción se convirtió rápidamente en un clásico dentro del género country.

Escrita por el propio Vince Gill junto a Pete Wasner, el tema alcanzó el número 2 en la lista Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks y en 2014 Willie Nelson, otra leyenda del country, rindió homenaje a este tema con una versión incluida en su álbum Band of Brothers.

Where Did U Go? es una de esas canciones que parece hecha para levantar el ánimo desde el primer segundo. Está interpretada por la boyband estadounidense Midnight Red y el tema encapsula la esencia del pop más fresco y pegadizo.

Lanzada en 2013 como parte del auge del grupo, la canción combina ritmos pegadizos con una melodía irresistible, perfecta para cantar a pleno pulmón. You're The One That I Want es una canción escrita por John Farrar para la película Grease en 1978 que fue interpretada por John Travolta y Olivia Newton-John.

El tema no solo marcó una escena inolvidable en la película, sino que también rompió récords en las listas de éxitos. En el Reino Unido, fue número uno durante nueve semanas, y en 2005 se ubicó como la sexta canción más vendida de la historia en ese país. ¡Casi dos millones de copias vendidas solo allí!

En Estados Unidos llegó al puesto número uno en el Billboard Hot 100 y si sumamos sus ventas en países como Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Francia y Alemania, hablamos de más de 6 millones de copias vendidas.
