The Power of Love

The Power of Love es una canción grabada originalmente por la cantante estadounidense Jennifer Rush en 1984 y fue lanzada al año siguiente, llegando al Nº 1 en el Reino Unido, convirtiéndose en en el sencillo más vendido ese año y en una de las baladas más conocida a nivel internacional. Consiguió llegar al Nº 1 en otros países también, como Canadá, Australia y Nueva Zelanda. Ha sido versionada por distintas artistas y en varios idiomas, como es el caso de la cantante dominicana Ángela Carrasco en 1986 bajo el título de Si tu eres mi hombre consiguiendo un gran éxito en Ámerica Latina.

En 1994 la cantante canadiense Celine Dion realizó una maravillosa versión (para mí, mejor que la original de Rush) con la que llegó al Nº 1 en Estados Unidos y Canadá.
