Time

Vive...
Siente...
Hazlo

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull dayFritter and waste the hours in an offhand wayKicking around on a piece of ground in your hometownWaiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rainYou are young and life is long, and there is time to kill todayAnd then one day you find ten years have got behind youNo one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinkingRacing around to come up behind you againThe sun is the same in a relative way but you're olderShorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the timePlans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled linesHanging on in quiet desperation is the English wayThe time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say

Home, home againI like to be here when I canAnd when I come home cold and tiredIt's good to warm my bones beside the fire

Far away across the fieldThe tolling of the iron bellCalls the faithful to their kneesTo hear the softly spoken magic spells

Rock Me

We don´t walk away
With everything we want
We ask ourselves in time of trouble
Who´s the fool in this play
If you´ve got it don´t flaunt
I want to know if you´re my girl, thought

Cause I know I only know
I know I only know
I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me

You´ve got a way about you
There´s  no doubt about you
In the crowd you´re never too loud
You´re my heroine
All the places we´ve been

Cause I know I only know
I know I only know
I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me
I love the way you rock me
Come rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me

I know I only know
I know I only know
I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me
I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me

Rock me, rock me
Rock me, roll me

Cause I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me

Rock me, rock me

I love the way you rock me
You rock me to my soul
Come rock me, rock me roll me
I love the way you rock me

Rock me, rock me

Wish You Were Here

And disciplinary remains mercifully
Yes and um, I'm with you Derek, this star nonsense
Yes, yes
Now which is it?
I am sure of it

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war
For a leading role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here
