K. es un tema de la banda estadounidense Cigarettes After Sex, compuesta por el vocalista Greg González, que forma parte de su álbum homónimo de 2017. Yo solo quiero amor es una canción de 2023 de la cantante barcelonesa Rigoberta Bandini con la que da un salto al cine, ya que es el tema principal de la película Te estoy amando locamente. Esta canción combina diferentes estilos de pop con la que captura a la perfección la intensidad de los sentimientos presentes en la película, mezclando un ritmo festivo con una reivindicación clara del derecho a amar libremente y la determinación de no ceder en los derechos ya conquistados.

Con esta canción, Rigoberta consiguió ganar merecidamente el Premio Goya 2024 a la Mejor Canción.

¿Qué hace una chica como tú en un sitio como este? es un tema de la banda de rock Burning lanzado como sencillo en 1978 y que se ha convertido en uno de los himnos más icónicos del rock español. Con su mezcla de rock & roll clásico y un toque de rebeldía urbana, la canción es una de las piezas imprescindibles de la época, donde Burning se mueve en un terreno que bebe directamente de las influencias del rock de los 70.

La canción es el tema principal de la película del mismo nombre dirigida por Fernando Colomo y protagonizada por Carmen Maura. Colomo quería una canción cuya letra reflejara el argumento de la película y tras descartar una propuesta de Luis Eduardo Aute, el encargo finalmente recayó en la banda madrileña Burning.

Ha tenido varias versiones a lo largo del tiempo en las que destacan, la que hizo Antonio Vega en 1991, la de Loquillo y los Trogloditas en 1997 y la de Alejo Stivel en 2011 con el grupo Pereza.

The Sounds of Silence es una canción del dúo estadounidense Simon & Garfunkel, escrita por Paul Simon en 1964 tras el asesinato de John F. Kennedy, siendo originalmente grabada como un tema acústico que aparecería dentro de su primer álbum que llevó por título Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M., aunque posteriormente fue retocada por el productor musical Tom Wilson incorporando batería, bajo y guitarra eléctrica y reeditada como sencillo en 1965, consiguiendo alcanzar el Nª 1 en las listas musicales de Estados Unidos.

Esta segunda versión fue incluida en el álbum de 1966 que llevó por título Sounds of Silence.

La canción ha formado parte de varias bandas sonoras como la del El graduado y ha sido incluida en la lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, según la revista Rolling Stone.

How Deep Is Your Love es una de esas canciones que trascienden el tiempo y las modas consolidándose como un clásico en la historia de la música pop. Escrita por Barry Gibb y coescrita  junto a sus hermanos Robin y Maurice Gibb, este tema se lanzó en 1977 y rápidamente se convirtió en un éxito mundial. Originalmente se concibió para que la interpretase otro artista, pero finalmente se incluyó en la banda sonora de la película Saturday Night Fever, película que definió la era disco y catapultó a los Bee Gees al estrellato mundial.

La suave mezcla de soft rock y pop es una muestra perfecta del talento de los Bee Gees para crear melodías inolvidables.

El impacto de la canción fue inmediato, alcanzando el Nº 2 en las listas musicales del Reino Unido, mientras que en Estados Unidos logró llegar al Nº 1 del Billboard Hot 100, manteniéndose en el TOP 10 durante 17 semanas consecutivas. En 2004, la revista Rolling Stone la incluyó en su lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos.

Pero no todo fue fácil para esta canción... en 1983, los Bee Gees se vieron envueltos en una disputa legal cuando Ronald Selle, compositor del musical Chicago, los acusó de plagio. Selle afirmó que los hermanos Gibb habían tomado elementos de su canción Let it End, compuesta en 1975 para crear How Deep Is Your Love. Un análisis detallado de las dos canciones realizado por Arrand Parsons, profesor de música de la Universidad Northwestern, reveló similitudes en varias notas y compases, lo que inicialmente llevó al jurado a fallar en contra de los Bee Gees, sin embargo, meses después, el veredicto fue revocado y la banda fue exonerada de las acusaciones.

A pesar de la controversia, la canción sigue llegando a los corazones de nuevas generaciones y a lo largo de los años ha tenido muchas versiones como las realizadas por Luther Vandross o la banda Take That, entre las versiones más conocidas.

Vine a buscarte es una canción lanzada en 2015 como parte de su álbum Conexión, que encapsula la esencia del cantautor Colombiano, Fonseca... una mezcla irresistible de pop latino con raíces colombianas.

El tema está compuesto por el propio Fonseca junto a Omar Alfanno y Miguel González Cardeneas y desde los primeros compases, el ritmo contagioso se te pega al cuerpo y es imposible no dejarse llevar por esa melodía rica y colorida que te invita a bailar, a cantar y a sentir.

Love the Hell Out of You es una preciosa canción del cantante y compositor escocés Lewis Capaldi compuesta junto a Ben Kohn, Michael Pollack, Pete Kelleher y Tom Barnes, con la que Capaldi nos vuelve a demostrar su talento para componer baladas que te llegan al corazón.

Este tema está incluido en la banda sonora de la película de este 2024 que lleva por título Romper el círculo | It Ends with Us, donde Capaldi nos habla de un amor incondicional, ese amor que te sostiene en los momentos más oscuros y que te ayuda a superar cualquier obstáculo.
