Chandelier es una grandísima canción de la cantante y compositora australiana Sia lanzada en 2014 como primer sencillo de su sexto álbum de estudio que llevó por título 1000 Forms of Fear y que fue co escrita junto a Jesse Shatkin, por la que obtuvo cuatro nominaciones a los Premios Grammy.
Las raíces de esta canción están en la lucha contra la depresión que sufrió Sia y contra el alcoholismo y las drogas que solía consumir habitualmente en las fiestas a las que iba la propia artista, fiestas de excesos y adicciones tras las cuales tocó fondo, momento en el que decidió entrar en un centro de rehabilitación.
El video del tema tuvo un grandísimo éxito y está interpretado por la joven bailarina Maddie Ziegler, que participó en el reality americano Dance Moms.
Posiblemente estemos ante una de las mejores canciones de ese año, una joya que tras su dureza, es capaz de tocarte todos los sentidos y emocionarte plasmando en ella toda la desesperación autodestructiva vivida por la cantante.
