What Are You Doing New Year's Eve es una canción escrita en 1947 por el compositor estadounidense Frank Loesser y fue grabada por vez primera ese mismo año por la cantante country Margaret Whiting.
Aunque generalmente es un tema que se interpreta en fechas navideñas, no era esa la intención del compositor, pero su emotiva letra y melancólica melodía la convierten en una elección apropiada para interpretarla en estas fechas reflexionando sobre el final de un año y las expectativas del próximo.
El tema ha tenido numerosas versiones a lo largo de los años de artistas tan grandes como Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Barbra Streisand, Harry Connick Jr. o la que en 2022 realizó la cantante y pianista estadounidense Norah Jones y que aparece dentro de su álbum navideño que llevó por título I Dream Of Christmas.
