What a Feeling es el primer sencillo que se lanzó de la banda sonora de la película de 1983 Flashdance. El tema, con música del compositor italiano Giorgio Moroder y letra del músico y productor musical inglés Keith Forsey, tiene como interprete a la cantante e intérprete Irene Cara. Se pidió expresamente a Moroder que compusiera la banda sonora de la película y Forsey junto a Irene Cara escribieron la mayor parte de la letra después de mostrarles la última escena en la que iría la canción como tema principal.
La canción fue un éxito rotundo y estuvo en el Nº1 del Billboard Hot 100 y encabezó las primeras posiciones de las listas musicales en todo el mundo, recibiendo la certificación Gold de la Recording Industry Association of America por vender más de un millón de copias y ganando el Oscar a la Mejor Canción, el Globo de Oro a la Mejor Canción Original y el Grammy a la Mejor Interpretación Vocal Pop.
