Dancing In the Dark

Dancing In The Dark es un temazo del cantante estadounidense Bruce Springsteen, escrita por el propio Bruce y que fue lanzada como primer sencillo de su álbum de 1984 que llevó por título Born in the U.S.A. La canción, en la que por primera vez Bruce utiliza sintetizadores, se convirtió en un exitazo, vendió más de un millón de sencillos en Estados Unidos, hizo ganar el primer Grammy a Springsteen e impulsó su álbum, siendo el más vendido de toda su carrera.

El tema también le hizo ganar a Bruce el Premio a la Mejor Interpretación Vocal Masculina en 1985 y figura entre las 500 canciones que formaron el rock and roll del Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll.

El video de la canción fue dirigido por el director de cine estadounidense Brian de Palma, grabado en distintas actuaciones en directo de Bruce y en la que invita a una joven del público a bailar con él en el escenario y que se trata de la actriz estadounidense Courteney Cox.
