Eso que tu me das es una maravillosa canción de Jarabe de Palo, que se lanzó como primer single de el que ha sido su último disco de 2020 que lleva por título Tragas o escupes.

Eso que tu me das "es la manera que tengo de agradeceros la generosidad que habéis demostrado conmigo, y que siempre ha sido mucha más de la que realmente me he merecido" nos dejó por escrito el gran Pau Donés en un comunicado.

Lo que no sabía (o si) mi añorado Pau Donés, es que las gracias se las tenemos que dar nosotros a él por darnos una lección de vida y regalarnos pese a todo, su sonrisa hasta el último momento.

Eso que tu me das es un canto a la vida, un canto al AMOR, una canción que se ha convertido en poco tiempo no ya en un éxito, que supongo que es lo de menos, o al menos a lo que Pau menos importancia podría darle, sino en un himno con el que demostrar nuestro cariño a las personas que queremos.

Pero no sé que me pasa, que aún siendo una canción llena de vida y de alegría, cada vez que la escucho me invade la tristeza y la emoción al recordar a Pau y todo el vacío que deja en los corazones de muchas personas y en la música... supongo que con el paso del tiempo podré disfrutarla como se merece y entenderé que precisamente esto, la música y los mensajes de las canciones de Pau y su Jarabe de palo es con lo que tenemos que quedarnos.

A Whiter Shade of Pale es una canción de la banda de rock británica Procol Harum escrita y compuesta por Gary Brooker, Keith Reid y Matthew Fisher, lanzada como sencillo en 1967 y que obtuvo un gran éxito, estando durante varias semanas entre las canciones más escuchadas de las listas musicales del Reino Unido.

El tema, inspirado en Johann Sebastian Bach, se ha convertido en un clásico y desde su publicación ha vendido más de 10 millones de copias.

BrokEn es una de las canciones que aparecen dentro del disco de 2019 de la banda británica Coldplay que llevó por título Everyday Life. El tema fue inspirado por el gusto por la música gospel de su ex-productor, que era ni más ni menos que Brian Eno y como homenaje a él, el título de la canción lleva sus iniciales en mayúsculas.
